Erika Coffin / Operator / Child & Youth Care level II

I have been working in the child care field for 10 years now. Since I began to work with children my passion for this job has grown exponentially. I am currently back in school to get a Degree within the child care field through Mount Saint Vincent University. I love and take joy in inspiring children to be the best they can be and to try, explore, and learn new things through play. Seeing children grow and advance in new ways is so rewarding, it's what makes my job so enjoyable, I love every minute of it!

Gail Sullivan / Owner

I have been teaching children age 2 to 5 since 1981. I began my teaching career part time at Happy Times while attending Memorial University of NL. In 1986, I accepted a full time position and the rest is history. My teaching practice incorporates a balance of structured traditional approach with play learning based. I am a strong advocate for literacy and am trained in Jolly Phonics.

Ann Peters / E.C.E Entry Level

I feel very lucky to have the opportunity to work with children. Their creativity, carefree spirit and individuality are heightened in these early formative years and it is such an inspiring environment to be lucky enough to work in. Being able to watch each child grow and develop as individuals is something I hold very dear to my heart. When I'm not at Happy Times, I can usually be found keeping up with my studies at Memorial University or relaxing at home.
